Weather Forecast for June 18: Rain in Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Bangalore

Mumbai rains have once again made a comeback. Thus, moderate to heavy rains are likely over the city during next 24 hours. Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala will also see some showers due to the off-shore trough extending along the West Coast. Meanwhile, rest of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Rayalaseema will remain very warm and humid. However, light rain cannot be ruled out.

A trough is seen extending from North Gujarat to South Gujarat. Thus, isolated places of Gujarat may receive light rains. Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh may also receive light rains. Meanwhile, dry and hot weather will prevail over rest of Central India.

In East and Northeast India, due the cyclonic circulation over East Bihar and a trough extending from this system to South Bangladesh, moderate to heavy rains will continue over Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and northeastern states. However, East India will experience hot and humid weather with isolated light rains over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.

In North India, as a Western Disturbance lies over North Jammu and Kashmir, thus we expect light to moderate rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Further, the induced cyclonic circulation over East central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab, would give dust storm and thundershowers over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.
