The Western Disturbance is persisting over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. A trough is also extending from this system up to another cyclonic circulation over Bihar.
With this, moderate to heavy rains will continue over many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Threat of landslide also looms large over the region and thus people are advised to refrain from travelling to the hills.
Meanwhile, plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will also continue with light to moderate rains at many places.
Rains will keep temperatures under check and weather will remain pleasant and comfortable over most places.
In East India, moderate to heavy rains are possible over eastern parts of Bihar, Sub- Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and West Assam, leading to flood like situation over the some parts.

Meanwhile, East Uttar Pradesh could see light to moderate showers.
Another trough is running from circulation till Andhra Pradesh that will bring light to moderate rains along the trough line over northeastern parts of Gangetic West Bengal Jharkhand, Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile parts of Telangana and Madhya Maharashtra could see scattered rains.
Moving to central India, northern and eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh may receive good spells of rain, while scattered showers are possible over South Chhattisgarh. Rest of the region may receive light rains.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Down south, the feeble off-shore trough along the west coast would give light to moderate showers over Coastal Karnataka, while rest of coastal areas of Konkan & Goa and Kerala will settle with light rains only.
Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, and interior Karnataka will continue with subdued Monsoon rains.
