The Western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir has moved away but remnants of the system may give isolated rains over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The trough continues to extend from Punjab to Assam across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Due to this scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Punjab and Haryana and at one or two places over West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and North Rajasthan. We expect marginal decrease in day temperatures across northwestern plains.

Two Cyclonic Circulations are embedded over the trough, one over East Uttar Pradesh and other over West Assam. Due to this, light to moderate rains are possible over Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya. Meanwhile East Uttar Pradesh and remaining northeastern states will receive scattered light rains.

Scattered light rains can also be seen over Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka and Kerala. Meanwhile, Monsoon rains will remain subdued over Tamil Nadu.
