Conditions remain favourable for further advancement of Southwest Monsoon into some parts of Northeast India during the next 24 hours.
Coming back to the weather conditions across India, With the low pressure in Arabian Sea fading away, rains have reduced over Kerala and Karnataka. However, scattered light showers would continue over these region.

Further, light to moderate rains may occur over parts of Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and subdued showers are also expected over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and adjoining Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Moving to East and Northeast India’s weather, an east west trough can be seen running across East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. So, we can expect light to moderate rains along with one or two heavy spells over parts of Jharkhand, West Bengal and North Odisha.
Further, some showers may occur over East Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states.
Coming to Central India, a trough is extending from Uttar Pradesh up to Telangana across Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. This system would give light to moderate rains over parts of South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and parts of Madhya Maharashtra. Meanwhile, heatwave will persist over pockets of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
Up in North India, a trough is extending from Punjab up to Uttar Pradesh across South of Uttarakhand and North Haryana. Therefore, we can expect scattered showers over the state of Uttarakhand, while the weather will remain dry over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile in plains, the weather is expected to be hot and dry. In fact, heatwave conditions will continue over parts of North Rajasthan and one or two pockets of South Haryana. The national capital, Delhi-NCR will witness hot weather along with clear sky conditions.
