The Western Disturbance over East Jammu and Kashmir is moving away. A cyclonic circulation is marked over North Pakistan and adjoining area. A trough from this system is running close to the foothills. Due to this, isolated rains may occur over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, while scattered rains may occur over Uttarakhand. Dry weather is expected over the northwestern plains. Meanwhile, western districts of Uttar Pradesh will see scattered activity.
Moving to east & northeast side, a cyclonic circulation is over Northeast Bihar and a trough is extending from this system up to East Assam. Another trough from this system is moving toward South Coastal Odisha across Jharkhand. With this, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected along the foothills of Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya, with isolated extremely heavy rain over West Assam and adjoining Sub Himalayan West Bengal. However, moderate rainfall is likely over many places of East Uttar Pradesh, rest of Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and light rain is expected over Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. Rain at many places over Odisha and Chhattisgarh with few moderate spells.

Moving to Central India, no significant weather system is prevailing over the region. Dry weather is expected over Kutch, Vidarbha and West Madhya Pradesh.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
An off shore feeble trough is seen extending from Konkan to North Kerala. Hence rainfall activity may reduce further over the area. However, few moderate rain may occur in parts of South Konkan and Goa and light rain over parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana while, Tamil Nadu will remain mainly dry.
Talking about the major cities of India; Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru will record light rains, while Delhi and Lucknow will have dry weather conditions.
