The cyclonic circulation over Odisha and West Bengal has intensified into a low pressure area. A cyclonic circulation is over South Chhattisgarh. Therefore, rainfall activity will enhance over Odisha and Chhattisgarh. In fact, moderate to heavy rain over will also continue over Vidarbha, Marathwada and South Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and North Andhra Pradesh coast.

At present, the axis of Monsoon trough is moving across Kapurthala, Nahan, Shahjahanpur, Varanasi, Purnea and Digha and towards Bay of Bengal across the low pressure area. Thus, East Uttar Pradesh, foothills of Bihar and North Bengal would witness moderate rain. In fact, scattered light to moderate rains over remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal are also likely. In northeast, a cyclonic circulation lies over East Assam. In wake of this, Arunachal Pradesh, East Assam and Nagaland will to receive moderate to heavy rains.
Down South, the off shore trough is likely to enhance rains over South Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. In fact, South Gujarat coast, North Konkan region including Mumbai will continue to witness moderate to heavy showers. Remaining regions of South India will observe scattered rainfall activity.

Up in North, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh, will witness mainly dry and hot weather. Though, humidity levels are expected to decrease. However, in wake of local developments, isolated activity cannot be ruled out over the northwestern plains and southeast Rajasthan. In fact, pockets of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may receive short spell of rain.
