The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and the axis of Monsoon trough running close to the foothills of Himalayas will continue to give moderate to heavy showers over Himachal Pradesh, parts of Punjab, Uttarakhand and Northwest Uttar Pradesh.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains will continue over North Haryana. In fact, isolated rains in parts of North Rajasthan and Delhi cannot be ruled out.
This trough is also running across East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar towards Gangetic West Bengal. With this, moderate to heavy rains will continue over foothills of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. In fact, the remaining parts of northeastern states, Jharkhand and parts of Odisha will continue with light to moderate Monsoon showers.
In Central India, rains have once picked up pace. We anticipate light to moderate rain and thundershower over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.

Meanwhile, the off shore trough running from South Gujarat to Kerala would give moderate to heavy showers in parts of South Gujarat and Coastal Maharashtra such as Surat, Mumbai and Ratnagiri.
The tough would also give moderate to heavy rains over Coastal Karnataka. Light to moderate showers are likely over Kerala, parts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Interior Karnataka including Bengaluru will to see scattered rains. Meanwhile, rains in Telangana and Rayalaseema will be subdued.
