A Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this weather system, moderate rains with a few heavy spells are likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The possibility of landslide, flash floods and cloudburst also cannot be ruled out.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over Haryana and adjoining Delhi. Due to this, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh may witness moderate to heavy rains during the next 24 to 48 hours while North Rajasthan may witness some rains.

An active trough is seen extending from this system across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Northeast India. Due to this, light to moderate rains may continue to occur over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. Whereas, northeastern states may also see moderate rains.
Another trough is seen running along the East Coast up to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. With this, Odisha Coast and Chhattisgarh may witness scattered moderate rains. Meanwhile, scattered light rains also cannot be ruled out over Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
A feeble trough is seen extending from Maharashtra up to Karnataka Coast. With this, light to moderate rains at one or two places may occur along the West Coast. Also, light rains are also possible over Maharashtra, Kerala and Karnataka. Mumbai will continue to see light rains.
However, rainfall activities are likely to remain subdued over Tamil Nadu but light rains cannot be ruled out over Chennai.
