Weather Forecast for July 25: Rain in Delhi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai

Heavy rains will remain confined to the northern parts of Madhya Pradesh. Also, moderate to heavy spells of rain are likely over East Rajasthan and parts of Chhattisgarh. Rains over Vidarbha would reduce and the weather over Gujarat will become almost dry with only isolated weather activities in some pockets.

Moving north; the axis of Monsoon trough will shift further north, resulting in increase in rain over Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh including cities of Lucknow, Chandigarh and Dehradun. Meanwhile, Jammu & Kashmir will settle with mainly light showers with isolated moderate spells of rain.

Over East & Northeast regions; the eastern end of the axis of Monsoon trough is expected to shift north, thus rainfall would enhance over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Rains are expected over Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata.

Meanwhile, light to moderate spells may continue over Northeast India with light rains over Odisha.

We expect rains to further reduce over the region. Light rains are possible over Konkan & Goa with Mumbai; whereas Coastal Karnataka and Kerala may observe light to moderate showers. North Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh will record scattered light rains, with isolated showers over Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
