Due to the well-marked low-pressure area over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh, we expect heavy to very heavy rains over West and North Madhya Pradesh along with adjoining East Rajasthan. Scattered light to moderate rains are expected over Gujarat, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
Konkan & Goa including Mumbai may also receive light to moderate rains. However, rains will be scanty over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.

Due to easterly winds, light to moderate rains will continue over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh may also receive scattered rains with few heavy spells.
In East and Northeast India, light to moderate rains are expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Foothills of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may also receive few spells of rain and thundershowers. Meanwhile, rains will be light over Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha.

Coastal Karnataka and Kerala will receive light to moderate rain and thundershower activities. Subdued rainfall activities will continue over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
