Weather Forecast for July 23: Rain in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Uttarakhand

The well-marked low-pressure lies over East Madhya Pradesh. Rainfall activity will increase over Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and East Gujarat as moderate to heavy showers will be observed over these places. Flooding conditions may also arise in parts of Madhya Pradesh. North Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra will receive moderate rains.

We also expect light rains to continue over Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Meanwhile, Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh will remain dry. Light to moderate rains are expected over the northeastern states due to the cyclonic circulation over East Assam. Meanwhile, Nagaland may receive heavy showers.

The off-shore trough running from Gujarat to Kerala Coast will remain feeble and light to moderate rains will continue along the West Coast including Mumbai. However, rains will reduce over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Further due to the Western Disturbance moving across Jammu and Kashmir, moderate to heavy rains are likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and South Jammu and Kashmir.

As the axis of Monsoon trough is passing through Rajasthan, and a cyclonic circulation is expected over South Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan, moderate rains may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Northwest Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
