Let’s begin with Central India today; West Madhya Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh and parts of Vidarbha would witness heavy to very heavy falls. Thus, the flood situation in Madhya Pradesh will still remain grim. Light to moderate showers are expected over rest of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat region bringing some respite over Gujarat.
Moving onto North India; a cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab which will give light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, causing cloud bursts and landslides over Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. There is also possibility of isolated heavy rains over East Rajasthan.
On the eastern side; Jharkhand and Odisha may see light to moderate rains with isolated heavy spells.
However, subdued rains are expected over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Northeast India with Sikkim.
Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains may continue over parts of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and South Konkan & Goa. Mumbai rains will continue to remain light.

Good rains are likely over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining North Telangana with subdued activity over Interior Karnataka and South Telangana.
