The low pressure area over East Madhya Pradesh and adjoining area is likely to give heavy to very heavy rains over West Madhya Pradesh with moderate to heavy showers over East Rajasthan.
Similarly, moderate with one or two heavy spells are expected over Gujarat region, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Thus, flood situation over Gujarat will remain grim.

Meanwhile, the off shore trough running from Karnataka to Kerala would give light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Konkan and Goa will see light to moderate rains. Mumbai rains will remain light during the next 24 hours. Scattered showers are likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh with isolated spells over Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.
Moving ahead over eastern region, rains will now reduce over Odisha, however scattered rains may still continue over northern parts of the state along with Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand. For now, rains will remain subdued over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Light to moderate spells are likely over Northeast India including Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

Finally up North, a Western Disturbance can be seen over Jammu & Kashmir which will give light to moderate rains over the state along with Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Meanwhile in plains, scattered rains are likely over North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
