Weather Forecast for July 17: Rains in Gujarat, Mumbai, Goa, Coastal Karnataka

In North, a Western Disturbance is seen over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, moderate rains may occur at many places over the state, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, good rains cannot be ruled out over Punjab and North Haryana.

Coming to West India, a low pressure area is seen over South Pakistan and adjoining Gujarat region. A trough is seen extending from this system up to the well-marked low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal.

In wake of this, moderate rains may continue at many places over South Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat.

Further, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and North Andhra Pradesh may see moderate to heavy showers. Light to moderate showers may also occur over Telangana.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains may occur at some places over South Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.

The weather conditions are likely to remain warm and humid over most parts of Bihar, North Jharkhand and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.

Coming to Northeast India, good rains will continue over Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura while over few places of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Down South, the off shore trough is extending from Gujarat Coast up to Lakshadweep area. With this, Coastal parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Karnataka and Kerala will see moderate showers along with few heavy spells.
