A well-marked low pressure area is seen over Southwest Madhya Pradesh which is likely to move towards Gujarat region and further intensity into a depression. A trough is also seen extending from this system up to North Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains are expected to occur at many parts of Gujarat such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Walsad, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar.
Meanwhile, southern districts of Rajasthan and Southwest Madhya Pradesh may receive light to moderate rains with one or two isolated heavy spells. Light to moderate rains cannot be ruled out over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
The system has also kept the off-shore trough active along the West Coast. Due to this trough, the intensity of rainfall is likely to increase over Konkan & Goa including Mumbai, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala, wherein we can expect moderate to heavy showers. Meanwhile, scattered rain and thundershowers are possible over Coastal Andhra Pradesh but weather of Marathwada, Telangana, Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will remain dry. However, isolated light rainfall activities over these regions cannot be ruled out.

Up in North, a Western Disturbance is seen over Jammu and Kashmir. With this, scattered light rains may occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The weather conditions over Northwest plains of India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh will continue to reel under humid and warm weather conditions.

Coming to East and Northeast India, the weather conditions over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are likely to remain almost dry. Meanwhile, scattered light to moderate rains are possible over Jharkhand, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
