Moderate to heavy spells will continue over many parts of Madhya Pradesh, with increased intensity over the western districts of the state. These showers are expected to aggravate the flood condition over the region. Southeast Rajasthan, Gujarat region, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will also see light to moderate showers with isolated heavy falls.

The off shore trough running from Coastal Karnataka to Kerala would give light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Mumbai rains would remain on the lower side. Meanwhile, good rains are expected over Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh with light rains over Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and North Tamil Nadu.
Talking about East & Northeast, good rains are possible over parts of Jharkhand and Odisha due to the cyclonic circulation over North Odisha. Light rains may occur over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal. Meanwhile, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states would see scattered showers.

Finally up North, the axis of Monsoon trough is now running across North India due to which good rains are in store for Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh; while light to moderate showers are expected over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan.
