Torrential Mumbai rains that have been wreaking havoc for the last three days are expected to reduce now. This would bring in much needed relief, but moderate showers will still continue.
Meanwhile, the off shore trough along the West Coast would give moderate to heavy rains right from Konkan to Kerala. Besides this, Telangana rains are also likely to ease, but light rains cannot be ruled out.
For now, Monsoon will remain subdued over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.

In central region, the rain intensity would now increase in Madhya Pradesh due to the presence of two cyclonic circulations, one over South Gujarat and the other over Northeast Madhya Pradesh.
So, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan would see moderate to heavy rains. This may also trigger in flooding as well over parts of Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Gujarat.
Similarly, Chhattisgarh and North Vidarbha region are likely to witness few good spells.
Moving East, light to moderate showers may occur over Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and northeastern states. Light rains are also over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Finally in North, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over Central Pakistan and a trough is running from this system across the plains. Thus, light to moderate rains may commence over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand;
While scattered showers are expected over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan.
