Mumbai rains are again on fire, with heavy to very heavy rains lashing the city. Mumbai will continue with moderate to heavy rains. In fact, rains would now intensify over central India. All thanks to fresh Monsoon surge.
Heavy rains are likely over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, parts of Vidarbha and Konkan & Goa. In fact, spells of heavy rains may trigger flooding as well. Meanwhile, South Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan would see light to moderate Monsoon rains.

Up in north, light to moderate rains will continue over Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh, while isolated rains are likely in Himachal Pradesh, North Punjab and parts of Haryana. Delhi and North Rajasthan will have to wait for rains and will continue battle warm and humid weather.
In East India, scattered light rains are likely over few parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal.
Similarly in northeast, light to moderate Monsoon rains with one or two heavy spells are possible over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and parts of Odisha.

Meanwhile down south; Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and parts of Telangana would witness light to moderate showers. Scattered light rains are also likely over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Interior Karnataka. However, Tamil Nadu would see subdued rains.
