The fresh cyclonic circulation in Bay of Bengal has intensified into a low pressure area and has moved inland in west direction. The system is presently marked over South Odisha, North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining sea region, moving west-northwest direction.
This will bring good Monsoon rains are likely over Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh.
A trough is extending from this system up to another circulation over Punjab and adjoining areas across Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana.
A fresh western disturbance is also seen approaching Jammu and Kashmir and is currently seen over North Pakistan and adjoining areas.
With this, rains will pick up pace and fairly widespread rain and thundershowers may occur across Northwest India including Delhi.
In addition to this, the weather system in Arabian Sea continues to infuse moisture laden winds over Gujarat and Rajasthan.
With all these systems combined together, weather conditions are highly favorable for Monsoon to take a big leap and cover entire Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, most parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan barring few parts of West Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the off-shore trough running along West Coast continues to be marked. With this, mainly active Monsoon conditions will be witnessed along the coastline but it can be vigorous over Coastal Karnataka and Goa, giving some extremely heavy showers.
Mumbai will also continue with good Monsoon rains on Friday.
