Therefore we expect rainfall activity to intensify over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and the foothills of Uttar Pradesh. Heavy to very rains are expected which may even trigger flashfloods, landslides in Himachal and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and adjoining Uttar Pradesh will observe scattered light to moderate rain.

In east, due to the shifting of the Monsoon trough and the associated cyclonic circulation over North Bihar many parts of Bihar, North Bengal, Sikkim and the northeastern states would receive heavy to very rainfall accompanied by lightning strikes which may trigger landslides. Meanwhile, light to moderate rains will continue over Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Gangetic West Bengal.

Meanwhile, rain intensity is expected to reduce significantly over Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra increasing the temperatures.

Down South, the off shore trough extending from Maharashtra to Kerala has weakened. Therefore, rain activity will also reduce over North Konan region including Mumbai. Besides this, light to moderate rain will continue over South Konkan, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
