Delhiites got a glimpse of wintery conditions on Thursday morning. Cloudy weather in Punjab and Delhi-NCR led to slight drop in day temperatures.
The Western Disturbance moving across Jammu and Kashmir will bring scattered rains over the hills. Snowfall likely in the higher reaches. Precipitation will be light in Uttarakhand.
The induced cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan has cleared away. Temperatures which were fairly above normal in the plains of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR will come down. Temperatures could rise once again by the 12th as we are expecting another Western Disturbance.
The cyclonic circulation over Northeast India will bring light rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya. Rainfall activity will spread out by Saturday.
This anti-cyclone will keep weather conditions mainly dry over West, Central and East India.
Down South, the feeble trough in Southwest Bay of Bengal will not bring any rainfall but just cloudy weather in South Coastal Tamil Nadu.
In absence of any major rainfall activity, both day and night temperatures are above normal in Peninsular India. Minimums will be lower twenties and maximums in lower thirties.
Kerala at present is experiencing very warm weather conditions with day temperatures in mid-thirties. Proximity to coast and high humidity will make afternoon hours quite uncomfortable.
