Weather Forecast for January 30: Snow in Jammu Kashmir, light rain over Punjab, Haryana

The Western Disturbance continues to prevail over Jammu and Kashmir region and is likely to move away during next 24 hours. With its passage, the induced cyclonic circulation over Punjab and neighbouring areas will also become less-marked.

On Saturday, we can expect fairly widespread rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, with isolated heavy spells. While, activity will be confined to only few parts of Uttarakhand.

Punjab and Haryana will also continue with light showers but with reducing intensity.

Anti-cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh will keep the weather dry over entire Central and West India with bright sunshine. East India will also remain weather free.

Moving on to Northeast India, only light to very light rain will occur over the region with the cyclonic circulation over Meghalaya becoming less marked.

Meanwhile, rains will return to parts of Peninsular India after remaining dry for last few days. A feeble trough is extending along Kerala and Coastal Karnataka, bringing isolated showers over both the region on Saturday.

Another feeble cyclonic circulation is seen over Southwest Bay of Bengal along the Sri Lanka Coast but it will not give any weather.

Both Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will continue with some light showers.

Delhi will witness maximum temperature of 25°C, while minimum will be around 12°C.

Mumbai will be warm at 33°C but nights will be comfortable with 18°C. Similarly, Bangalore will also be warm with day temperature of 30°C and 17°C.
