Weather Forecast for January 27: Fog in North India, rain in Andaman and Nicobar

A fresh Western Disturbance is lying over Jammu and Kashmir. This weather system will give scattered rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Few places over Uttarakhand could also receive some rainfall. Plains will remain unaffected by this system. Foothills of Punjab could witness partly cloudy skies. Night temperatures in the Northwest plains will rise by a couple degrees. Maximums could also witness a marginal rise. The intensity of fog will now reduce. Shallow to moderate fog will persist at many places over Delhi-NCR, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Some parts of Punjab and Haryana could witness dense fog as well. People in East India could also wake up to a foggy morning.

The cyclonic circulation over here will bring some light rainfall over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.

The Cyclonic circulation developing over Southeast Bay of Bengal may give some good rains over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Weather will remain mostly dry over South India. We can see an anti- cyclone over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Due to this, clear sky conditions likely over most parts of Central and South India.

Patna will be cold with minimum at 7 degrees. Kolkata will be better off with maximum and minimum at 25 and 13 degrees respectively.

In Central India, Ahmedabad will record maximum of 30 degrees while minimum will be at 18.
