Delhiites and rest of the people in the northern plains are still awaiting the winter chill. Temperatures in are still running way above normal levels.
The Western Disturbance moving across Jammu and Kashmir will continue to bring some rain and snow over the state. We can expect some clouding in rest of the hilly states.
The induced cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan will work in tandem with the Western Disturbance to bring a cloud cover in the plains of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and West Uttar Pradesh. We cannot rule out the possibility of some isolated rainfall activity in these regions. North Indians celebrating Lohri tomorrow will not be affected much as rainfall will be light, if at all.
The feeble circulation over Northeast India will bring light rains over Arunachal Pradesh.
Fog will be mostly shallow in entire North India, East and Northeastern parts. Some parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar could receive dense fog on Wednesday morning.
The anti-cyclone will keep weather conditions mainly dry over entire Central India.
No weather activity in terms of rainfall likely in Peninsular India. Temperatures will be near normal levels.
Day Maximum will remain above normal around 24°C in Delhi Minimum Temperature will settle around 10°C.
Kolkata will also remain quite warm with maximum near 27°C.
Warm condition prevailing in peninsular India as well with day temperature reaching up to 34°C in Mumbai.
Day temperature in Hyderabad & Chennai will settle around 30°C.
