A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the hilly region of North India and is presently marked over Afghanistan and adjoining North Pakistan.
Weather over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh will be dry with few clouds on Sunday under the influence of this fresh system.
Meanwhile, dry and cold northwesterly winds will continue to blow over the northwestern plains. Maximum temperatures will remain stable over the region, but minimum temperatures will witness marginal drop on Sunday.
These cold northerly wind are also reaching up to central parts of country, which will keep both the day and night temperatures near normal that were earlier settling above normal.
With this, density of fog will reduce by Sunday morning and only shallow to moderate fog will be witnessed over several places including Delhi. However, few areas may record dense fog.
Up in Northeast India, scattered light rains are expected over parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur on Sunday. Thereafter weather will go dry.
Moving on to Peninsular India, entire region is likely to witness dry weather on Sunday. Days will be warm and humid in absence of any weather activity.
