The Western Disturbance continues to move across Jammu and Kashmir, which will continue to give widespread rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand on Saturday. Meanwhile, its induced cyclonic circulation is seen over Punjab and adjoining Haryana. Both the systems coupled together will give light to moderate rain and thundershowers over several parts of Punjab and Haryana. Meanwhile, Delhi NCR and North Rajasthan could also witness scattered rains.
Talking about fog, intensity of fog will reduce significantly across northwestern plains but East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will continue with moderate to dense fog.
Meanwhile, Central India will continue with clear and dry weather with no major change in the temperature profile.
Down South, the low pressure area in Bay of Bengal has now intensified into a well-marked low pressure area over Andaman Sea. With this, heavy rains will continue over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. However, it will not have any impact over South India, which will continue to be dry as the system is lying far away from Indian mainland.
