Another active Western Disturbance has started affecting Jammu and Kashmir and with this, widespread moderate to heavy rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand on Friday.
The system has induced a trough across the northwestern plains and both the systems combined together will give rain and thundershowers over several parts of Punjab and few parts of Haryana. Meanwhile, rest of the plains will settle with partly cloudy sky.
Talking about fog, intensity of fog will now reduce over the region but East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will continue with dense fog.
Meanwhile, anti-cyclone over Maharashtra will keep the weather clear and dry over entire Central India.
Up in Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over the region that would give some rain and snow over the higher reaches of Arunachal Pradesh.
Down, the low pressure area continue to prevail over South Andaman Sea. With this, moderate to rains will continue over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With the systems moving northerly direction, it will not have any impact over South India that will continue to be mainly dry.
