A fresh Western Disturbance is affecting over Jammu and Kashmir and being active in nature the system is likely to give fairly widespread moderate to heavy rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand.
Parts of North Punjab could also isolated rain due to the system, while rest of the northern plains could witness marginal rise in the night temperature due to the medium and high clouds.
Talking about fog, dense to very dense fog will continue over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, North Rajasthan and North Bihar, while plains of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi NCR could witness moderate fog.
Meanwhile, Central India will continue with dry and clear weather conditions.
Down south, a cyclonic circulation has developed over southeast Bay of Bengal. It will bring moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers over Andaman and Nicobar Island. However, being far away from the Indian mainland, South Peninsula will remain mainly dry.
