The Western Disturbance which was giving rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand is now moving away eastwards.

Meanwhile, dry and cold northwesterly winds are expected to begin over the northwestern plains. With this, minimum temperatures may drop by 1 or 2 degrees. Moderate to dense fog is expected at some places over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Coming to Central India, an anti-cyclone is marked over Maharashtra and adjoining areas. Due to this, dry weather will continue over the region as well as over eastern parts of the country.
