Weather Forecast for Jan 28: Clear weather in Kashmir, Himachal, Delhi, rain in TN, Kerala

The Western Disturbance which has been responsible for giving recording breaking snow and rain over hilly states of North India has finally cleared away the region. With this, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will get much needed much break from the continuous rain and snow. However, remnants of the system may give isolated rain and snow over few parts of Kashmir region.

Similarly, northwestern plains are also expected to witness clear weather conditions with warm and sunny days and cool and comfortable nights. With this, shallow to moderate fog may make a comeback over the plains.

In East India, North Bihar could see some light to moderate rain and thundershowers. A cyclonic circulation is seen over North Bangladesh and Meghalaya region, which will bring scattered rain and thundershowers over northeastern states along with parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.

Meanwhile, anticyclone over Central India will keep the weather dry and clear over the region.

Down south, the cyclonic circulation in Bay of Bengal is now marked over southwest of Sri Lanka coast. With this, scattered rains will continue over South Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Rest of the region will remain dry.
