Moving to Central India, dry and cold northwesterly winds have already dropped both maximum and minimum temperatures significantly over most parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Days are expected to be comfortable with good amount of sunshine. Due to prevalence of cold winds over the region, minimums will remain on the lower side.

Talking about East and Northeast India, thick fog has abated Bihar, but is still maintaining its grip over parts of East Uttar Pradesh. Not much change is anticipated during the next 24 hours as well.

The remnants of Western Disturbance will affect parts of Northeast India, wherein East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh may observe scattered rains. Also, the higher reaches of Arunachal Pradesh would witness isolated snowfall. Northern portion of Nagaland would record light showers.
