To start with the weather of North, light rain and snow is expected over parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, while Uttarakhand is likely to witness some good rains accompanied with hailstorms.
A cyclonic circulation along with an easterly trough extending from North Rajasthan up to Uttar Pradesh will give scattered rain and thundershowers over Northwest India including Delhi, Haryana, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Rain is also expected over isolated parts of Punjab. Furthermore, minimum temperatures will increase, while maximums will drop by 2-4 degrees over Northwest India.

Talking about East and Northeast India, isolated areas of East Uttar Pradesh are expected to receive light rain. The intensity of fog will reduce over the cited region but dense fog will persist over several places of Bihar, with possibility of cold day conditions over isolated areas. Meanwhile, moderate to dense fog is expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
Moving to Central India, isolated regions of North Madhya Pradesh are likely to receive light rain. Otherwise, South Rajasthan, Gujarat, remaining portion of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh would continue to observe dry weather. Herein, minimum temperatures will increase by 2-3 degrees.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Moving further down South, minimum temperatures will remain below normal, with dry weather over most places of Southern Peninsula including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Herein, days are likely to be warm.
A trough is extending from south central Bay of Bengal up to equatorial Indian Ocean. With this, scattered rain and thundershowers will continue over South Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
