Beginning with North India, the current Western Disturbance has moved away eastwards. Now, cold and dry northwesterly winds will commence over Northwest Plains leading to further decrease in fog intensity. Weather will remain dry over entire Northwest India including hills. Day and night temperatures are expected to witness a marginal drop over the region.

Coming to East and Northeast India, dense to very dense fog will persist over Bihar and parts of East Uttar Pradesh. Thus, cold day conditions are expected over some parts of North Bihar and isolated pockets of Northeast Uttar Pradesh. Moderate to dense fog is also expected over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, West Assam, parts of Meghalaya and Tripura.
Moving to Central India, an anti-cyclone is seen over West Madhya Pradesh. Thus, day and night temperatures will drop over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Meanwhile, no change in temperatures is expected over Gujarat, day will remain warm and sunny.

Down South, a cyclonic circulation is seen over South Andaman Sea. A trough is also seen across Equatorial Indian Ocean. With this, scattered rains may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. However, entire South India will remain dry.
Talking about the metro cities, weather will remain dry over Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Bengaluru may witness pleasant mornings and nights.
