The present Western Disturbance is seen moving away, but this may give isolated rain and snow over the higher reaches of Uttarakhand.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over West Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas. A trough is extending from this system up to Bangladesh across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar where another cyclonic circulation can be marked.
In wake of this, we can expect light rain and thundershowers over Jharkhand, North Chhattisgarh and parts of South Bihar.
Dense fog is likely to continue over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and parts of Tripura.
Northwest plains including Delhi-NCR may also witness moderate to dense fog during next 24 hours. Marginal increase in minimum temperatures can be expected.
Meanwhile, central parts of the country will continue with dry and clear weather conditions.
Down south, light to moderate rains may occur at many places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on account of the trough extending from Maldives up to South Andaman Sea. Rest parts of South India will remain mainly dry.
