The Western Disturbance is moving across Jammu and Kashmir. This system is expected to give fairly widespread rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
A cyclonic circulation is marked over Punjab and adjoining Pakistan. With the combined effect of these two systems, light to moderate rain is expected at many places over Punjab and a few places over Haryana and Northwest Uttar Pradesh.
Further rise in minimum temperatures are expected over Northwest plains, central and eastern parts of the country.
Down South, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin area which would give isolated light rains over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep islands.
Another cyclonic circulation over south central Bay of Bengal will give scattered light rain and thundershowers over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Rest of South Peninsula will remain clear and dry.
