Northwest India continues with pleasant weather conditions with bright sunshine. Day can be slightly uncomfortable during peak afternoon hours but will remain pleasant for most of the time. While nights will continue to be cooler.
Moving further, the east-west trough continues to run from West Bengal up to Vidarbha region across Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. A cyclonic circulation is also embedded over the trough that is marked over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.
All these systems combined together will bring significant amount of rain over the East and Central India on Saturday. While, West Bengal and Jharkhand will get light rain, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha could see some good showers.
Moving on to Peninsular India, a trough continues to prevail over Southwest Bay of Bengal off the Tamil Nadu Coast. Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin area with trough extending from it along the west coast.
Both the systems will infuse moisture over the southern parts of the region leading to light rain over Kerala and Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Northeast India will remain weather free but chances of isolated rains cannot be ruled out.
