Weather Forecast for February 23: Delhi, Punjab, Haryana to witness cold nights and warm days

Relatively dry conditions likely in most parts of the India tomorrow. Here’s a look at the weather condition across the country.

At present, there are no significant weather systems in North India. In fact, during rest of February Delhi and northern plains will witness clear skies. Days will be warm and sunny while nights will be much colder.

The cyclonic circulation over Assam will bring scattered rain and thundershowers over Arunachal Pradesh and Upper Assam.

No weather system can be seen in Central India as well. Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat will witness warm and dry weather conditions for the time being.

With the shift in the anti-cyclone, a trough has developed from Odisha to Maharashtra. This trough will gradually become more marked and bring some weather in terms of rainfall in East India. Odisha at present is recording very high temperatures. This spell of rain will lead to significant drop in temperatures around 25th of February.

We can see a region of wind discontinuity with a trough extending across Kerala and Karnataka coast. This region will continue to receive some light rainfall throughout the week.

Maximums in Delhi and Northern plains will settle in the range of 27 to 29°C. Night temperatures will be in lower teens.

We can see that the diurnal variation is quite high. It’s a time when you get more susceptible to catch cough and cold.

Interiors of Peninsular India are extremely hot at present. In Telangana, Vidarbha and Marathwada maximums will be 5 to 7°C above normal. Hyderabad will be sizzling at 38°C. Bangalore will also be hot with maximum at 34°C.
