The Western Disturbance is affecting the hills of North India and is now marked over Jammu and Kashmir. The system will give fairly widespread rain and snow over the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Saturday.
While, its induced cyclonic circulation has also move eastwards and now over Punjab and Haryana. All systems combined together will give light to moderate rain over northwestern plains of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and even parts of West and Central Uttar Pradesh.
Parts of North Rajasthan can also see some rain on Saturday.
The anti-cyclone is also prevailing over Odisha, which has kept the weather warm over East India, particularly over parts of Odisha that are witnessing day temperatures in high 30s.
Meanwhile, Central India will remain weather free on Saturday.
A cyclonic circulation is seen over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Accordingly isolated light rain is likely over both the states.
Now moving into to the southern parts of the country, the cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep region continues to retain its strength. A trough is also extending from the system up to Maharashtra along the West coast. With this, light rain is expected over southern parts of Kerala during next 24 hours.
Delhi will record day temperature of 26°C, while morning temperature will settle around 14°C.
Mumbai and Chennai will be hot and humid with day maximum of 33°C and 32°C, respectively.
