Weather Forecast for February 07: Snow in Jammu Kashmir, rain likely over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi

The fresh Western Disturbance is now prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir. While, it’s induced cyclonic circulation is now seen over Haryana and adjoining Rajasthan. With this, fairly widespread light to moderate rain and snow is likely over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, with isolated heavy spells. Uttarakhand might also see some activity over few parts. While, plains of Haryana, Northwest Uttar Pradesh and Punjab will see rain and thundershowers. Punjab can also witness isolated hailstorm. Delhi and North Rajasthan could also isolated rain on Sunday. In wake of this, minimum temperatures will rise significantly by 2-4 across entire Northwest India including North Madhya Pradesh.

Anti-cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh, Odisha and adjoining Andhra Pradesh will keep the weather clear and dry over most parts of Central and East India.

Northeast India will also remain weather free in absence of any significant weather system.

Meanwhile, Peninsular India will continue to be hottest pocket of the country with day temperatures settling in mid 30s.

Delhi will witness maximum temperature of 23 degrees, while minimum will be around 10 degrees.

Mumbai will be warm at 30 degrees but nights will be comfortable with 17 degrees.

Bengaluru will also be warm with day temperature of 31 degrees and night temperatures at 17 degrees.
