Weather Forecast for February 05: Minimum temperatures to rise significantly over Northwest India

February 4, 2016 7:14 PM |

A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching hills of North India and is presently marked over North Pakistan. The system has also induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan. Both the systems are likely to influence the wind pattern over entire Northwest and Central India. These warm and humid southwesterly winds from Arabian Sea will lead significant rise in minimum temperatures from Friday onwards. Rains are also likely to follow soon over the region from Saturday evening.

The anti-cyclonic circulation over Central India has further shifted eastwards. Therefore we expect significant rise in maximum temperatures over places such as Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Moving on to Northeast India, the cyclonic circulation prevailing over the region has become insignificant. With this, we expect least weather activity over the region on Friday.

Peninsular India will continue with hot and humid weather. No major change is expected in the temperature for next 2 days.

Delhi will witness clear sky with maximum and minimum temperature at 23°C and 8°C respectively.

Mumbai will be warm at 32°C but nights will be comfortable with 14°C.

Bangalore will also be warm with day temperature of 31°C and night temperatures at 17°C.
