The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir has moved away further eastwards. However, isolated rain and snow will continue over the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Dry and cold northwesterly winds have started blowing across most parts of Northwest India. With this, marginal drop in night temperatures can be expected, but maximums on the other hand will increase marginally, leading to clear and sunny sky.
Talking about fog, moderate to dense fog is expected over the northern plains including North Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, temperatures over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will also see a dip marginally. Shallow to moderate fog will continue to grip these states.
Central India will continue to witness dry and clear weather on account of an anti-cyclone over the region.
Down South, a feeble cyclonic circulation is marked over Southwest Bay of Bengal. Also a trough is extending from this system up to Comorin area. No significant change in weather is expected due to these systems. Weather will remain warm and dry over southern peninsula.
