The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is moving away eastwards. However, isolated rain and snow will continue over the state, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, its induced cyclonic circulation will become insignificant, but foothills of Uttar Pradesh may still witness some isolated rain. Change in wind pattern is also expected from warm and humid southwesterly to dry and cold northwesterly winds. This will lead to fall in minimum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees over entire Northwest and Central India.
Talking about fog, intensity of fog will also reduce over the northern plains, while moderate to dense fog will continue to grip over isolated pockets of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
A cyclonic circulation persists over Bangladesh and Tripura, but this system will not have much effect on weather conditions over Northeast India. Meanwhile, shallow to moderate fog will continue over Tripura.
Central and South India will witness clear sky conditions in absence of any significant weather system, leading to warm and sunny day with cool nights.
