The Western Disturbance has now started affecting Jammu and Kashmir, and now we can expect fairly widespread moderate to heavy rain and snow over the state, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Uttarakhand.
Its induced cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and adjoining areas, which may give scattered light to moderate rain over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, and parts of Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.
Few areas may witness some spells of hailstorm as well.
Talking about fog, intensity of fog will reduce over the northern plains, while, moderate to dense fog will continue to grip parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Meanwhile, mercury is likely to rise in Northeast and East India on account of clear weather conditions.
Similarly, both Central and South India will also continue with dry weather conditions on account of anti-cyclone over Telangana and absence of any significant other weather system. In wake of this, days will be warm and sunny.
