The Western Disturbance is now over Jammu and Kashmir, which is likely to bring fairly widespread light to moderate rain and snow over the state. Snowfall will also commence over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand but intensity will be less as compared to Jammu and Kashmir.

Its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas, which may give scattered light to moderate rain over Punjab, West Rajasthan and parts of Haryana. Remaining parts of northwestern plains may see cloudy weather.

Humid winds of Arabian Sea will increase both the maximum and minimum temperatures by 1-2 degrees across the region.

Talking about fog, intensity of fog will reduce over the northern plains, while, moderate to dense fog will continue to grip parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Another, cyclonic circulation continues to prevail over South Assam but it will not give any weather over the region and Northeast and East India will remain dry.

Similarly, both Central and South India will also continue with dry weather conditions on account of anti-cyclone over Chhattisgarh and absence of any significant other weather system. In wake of this, days will be warm and sunny.
