A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching Western Himalayas and is likely to start affect Jammu and Kashmir by Friday evening. With this, light rain and snow is likely over the state, while isolated weather activity may also occur Himachal Pradesh.
It has also induced a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas, which may give isolated rains over North Punjab and extreme western parts of Rajasthan. Remaining parts of northwestern plains may see cloudy weather.
Maximum and minimums temperatures are also likely to increase significantly across the region.
Talking about fog, intensity of fog will reduce over the northern plains, while, dense to very dense fog will continue to grip parts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Isolated light rains are likely to continue Arunachal Pradesh. Rest parts of Northeast and East India will remain dry.
Similarly, both Central and South India will also continue with dry weather conditions on account of anti-cyclone over Maharashtra and absence of any significant other weather system. In wake of this, days will continue to be warm and sunny.
