Beginning with North India, the prevailing Western Disturbance has moved away. Thus, dry weather will prevail over entire Western Himalayan region. Cold northerly and northeasterly winds are expected over Northwest Plains including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi NCR and West Uttar Pradesh. With this, both day and night temperatures will fall marginally over these areas. Dense fog is not expected. However, shallow to moderate fog is possible in pockets.

Moving to East and Northeast India, dense fog will persist over isolated pockets of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, West Assam and Tripura may witness moderate fog, Scattered rain may occur over East Assam, parts of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Weather of remaining parts of Northeast and East India will remain dry.
Talking about Central India, an anti-cyclone is seen over Chhattisgarh and adjoining Vidarbha. Thus, we expect dry weather to continue over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh as well as Gujarat. Minimums may marginally fall over West Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
Down South, a trough is seen over Equatorial Indian Ocean. Another trough is extending across Central Arabian Sea. However, these weather systems will have no impact over South India which is why the entire South Indian regions will remain dry.

Talking about major cities of India, Delhi will remain warm and sunny the during day, while night will be cold. Mumbai and Hyderabad will observe a warm day with comfortable night. Kolkata and Bengaluru will observe a sunny day and comfortable night. Meanwhile, Chennai will see a warm and humid day.
