In East and Northeast India a Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over the eastern parts of Bihar and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. A trough from this system is extending up to Arunachal Pradesh. Another trough is also extending up to Odisha coast across Gangetic West Bengal. In the wake of all these weather systems, we expect fairly widespread rain and thundershowers in Bihar, West Bengal and Odisha. Scattered rain is likely in Jharkhand and at a few places in Northeast Uttar Pradesh. Scattered rain is also expected in Kolkata.
The intensity of rain will start increasing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur. Snowfall is also possible in the upper reaches of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.Coming to Central India the weather of entire central India will now start clearing up. Ongoing rainfall activities in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha region in Maharashtra will subside. The day temperature of these places will rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius. Dry north-westerlies and westerlies will continue to blow in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan and many parts of Madhya Pradesh. The weather of Mumbai will remain dry and sunny.

Up in the North dry westerly winds will continue to blow in entire northwest India. Thus, we expect dry weather to prevail in the hills as well as in the plains of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Isolated light rain may occur at a few places in Uttrakhand.
Down South isolated light rain is expected in north coastal Andhra Pradesh. The weather of Telangana, Rayalseema, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu will continue to remain dry and warm. Chennai may see partly cloudy sky conditions. While the weather of Bengaluru and Hyderabad will be mostly dry and sunny.
