Weather Forecast for Feb 25: Rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala snow in Manali, Srinagar Kashmir, Himachal, Uttarakhand

The prevailing Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is likely to move eastwards. However, another fresh Western Disturbances is approaching the region. An induced cyclonic circulation prevails over North Rajasthan and adjoining Haryana. In wake of these combined weather systems, rain and snow activity will continue over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, rain and thundershower activity will abate major parts of Northwest India such as Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and Delhi. However, the rain belt will shift to West and Central Uttar Pradesh.

Talking about the weather of New Delhi, the city will witness a comfortable day along with partly cloudy sky conditions.

Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over East Bihar and adjoining West Bengal. This weather system is likely to give rain and thundershower activity in some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and the northeastern states. Meanwhile, the city of joy Kolkata is also expected to witness a warm day with partly cloudy sky.

In Central India, states such Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra are recording maximum temperatures above 35° mark. It is anticipated that these states will continue to record high maximums as there is no weather system. In fact, Mumbai will also witness a hot day.

In South India, a cyclonic circulation persists over Sri Lanka and a trough is extending off the Kerala coast in the Arabian Sea. In wake of this weather system, extreme south of Kerala and Tamil Nadu are likely to witness light rain. In fact, a cyclonic circulation also persists in the Andaman Sea. Therefore, Andaman and Nicobar are expected to witness moderate with isolated heavy spells. Meanwhile, Telangana, parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will record day maximums around 35°C.

Talking about the major cities of South India, Hyderabad will witness a warm day. Likewise day will be warm over Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Chennai is expected to witness a humid day.
