Weather Forecast for Feb 22: Day temperatures to rise over HP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana

The Western Disturbance has moved away eastwards. Now, northwesterly winds will start blowing over northwest plains leading to dry weather conditions. In fact, the weather of hills will also become dry and the day temperatures may increase marginally over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well as northwestern plains.

Talking about East and Northeast India, a feeble cyclonic circulation is persisting over Bangladesh. Due to this weather system, isolated light rain may continue over eastern parts of Arunachal Pradesh. Meanwhile, the weather over rest of Northeast India and entire East India will remain dry and little warm.

In Central India, an anti-cyclone is prevailing over West Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, weather will remain warm and sunny over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, and Gujarat. Meanwhile, the day temperatures of Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha will settle 3°C to 4°C above normal.

Down South, entire southern peninsula will observe dry and warm weather conditions due to the absence of any significant weather system.

Delhi-NCR is likely to witness partly cloudy sky along with isolated thunderstorm activity. Meanwhile, Mumbai is expected to witness a warm and sunny day. Kolkata is likely to remain warm while Chennai may observe a humid day. Hyderabad is expected to remain warm during the day while a comfortable night is in store for Bengaluru.
