The Western Disturbance over East Jammu and Kashmir has moved eastwards.
With this, the ongoing rain and snowy shower over Jammu and Kashmir is likely to reduce. However, scattered rain and snow will continue over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
A trough is seen extending from Punjab up to Northwest Uttar Pradesh. In wake of this, northern parts of Punjab and Rajasthan, Northwest Uttar Pradesh may record light rains.
Meanwhile, cold and dry northwesterly winds will reduce both maximum and minimum temperatures over entire northwestern plains including Delhi NCR and adjoining parts of Central India.
Coming to Northeast India, a trough is seen over these states. With this, rain and thundershowers are likely to increase over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.
Weather over central and southern parts of the country will remain mainly dry, with clear sky. Maximum temperature over West Coast of India, particularly Konkan and Goa will reduce by 2 to 3 degrees, while minimum temperature will remain below normal over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
